1. After the accident, the hazard warning lights (commonly known as "double flashing") should be turned on as soon as possible, and the hazard warning signs should be placed behind the vehicle to remind the vehicles behind to avoid the secondary accident.
2. Check the driver's license and vehicle procedures of the other party, including license plate, annual inspection, driving cost and compulsory traffic insurance. Confirm whether the other party is a vehicle without a license plate, and whether the driver is driving without a license or drunk. If any of the above situations are found, the police shall be immediately alerted, and the vehicle cannot be moved.
3. Take photos of the scene of the accident for evidence, a panoramic photo that can explain the location of the accident and several close-up photos of the contact part of the vehicle. It is better to take a group photo of the driver and the vehicle. In order to provide evidence for future claims against the insurance company, and at the same time, avoid the other owner's "dishonour". After both parties reach a consensus on the responsibility of the accident, move the vehicle to a place that does not hinder the traffic.
4. Both parties call their insurance companies to inform them of the time, place and loss of the accident, and obtain the report number.
5. After getting the report number, you can fill in the agreement for rapid handling of traffic accidents. If there is no such agreement, it can also be replaced by white paper. However, it is necessary to indicate the accident situation, information of both parties, and clarify the responsibility for the accident. Finally, the parties concerned can sign on the paper.
6. Both parties shall confirm the contact information with each other so that they can contact with each other afterwards for loss assessment and claim. It should be noted that the unilateral liability accident needs to be determined by the fully responsible insurance company and the claim can be made by either insurance company for the same liability accident of both parties.
