Article 101 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China states that those who violate the provisions of the laws and regulations on road traffic safety and commit major traffic accidents, which constitute crimes, shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law, and the traffic management department of the public security organ shall revoke their motor vehicle driving licenses.
