2. If serious consequences are caused, they shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death. Whoever negligently commits the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years; If the circumstances are relatively minor, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention.
3. If the cable is not in use, it shall be dealt with as theft in the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties for Public Security and the Criminal Law.
(1) If the standard of "large amount" is not met, the criminal case can not be filed, and the criminal case can be detained for not less than five days but not more than ten days, and a fine of not more than 500 yuan can also be imposed; If the circumstances are relatively serious, he shall be detained for not less than 10 days but not more than 15 days and may also be fined not more than 1000 yuan.

According to Article 118 of the Criminal Law, whoever destroys electric power, gas or other flammable and explosive equipment, endangers public security, but has not caused serious consequences, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than 10 years.
