The so-called subject of the right of inheritance is the subject who enjoys and can exercise the right of inheritance. There are three categories:
1. Legal successor. It refers to the spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters, grandparents and maternal grandparents of the decedent.
2. A testamentary heir. Including legal heirs, countries, organizations and other citizens.
3. The successor designated in the legacy maintenance agreement.

According to Article 11 of the Inheritance Law, if the children of the decedent die before the decedent, they shall be inherited in subrogation by their lineal descendants.

According to Article 1128 of the Civil Code, if a child of the decedent dies before the decedent, the direct younger blood relatives of the decedent's children shall inherit in subrogation.
