Ways to distinguish between invalid contracts and revocable contracts:
1. An invalid contract is a contract that, although established, is not legally given legal effect according to the agreement of the parties due to its serious lack of effective elements;
2. A contract that can be changed or revoked is a contract that has been formed and allows the parties to apply for changing or revoking all or part of the terms of the contract because of legal reasons.
[Legal Basis]
In Article 150 of the Civil Code, if a party or a third person coerces the other party to perform a civil legal act against its true intention by means of coercion, the coerced party has the right to request the people's court or an arbitration institution to revoke it. (The effective date of the Civil Code is January 1, 2021)
