 3. If the passenger fails to use the seat belt as required when the motor vehicle is running, RMB 5 will be fined;
 4. If the driver fails to use the seat belt as required when driving on the expressway, 50 yuan will be fined and 2 points will be deducted;
 5. If the passenger fails to fasten the seat belt as required when the vehicle passes through the expressway, RMB 20 will be fined;
 6. If the passenger fails to use the seat belt as required when driving a motor vehicle in a section of the urban area with a speed limit of less than 50 kilometers, and makes corrections immediately after being pointed out, a verbal warning shall be given;
 7. When the car encounters emergency braking when driving at high speed, the correct use of the seat belt can tie the driver and passengers to the seat to avoid or reduce collision injuries. In order to urge drivers to use seat belts, it is stipulated that when driving a motor vehicle on the expressway or urban expressway, if the driver fails to fasten the seat belt as required, 2 points shall be scored at a time.

 Article 51 of the Road Traffic Safety Law stipulates that when a motor vehicle is running, the driver and passengers shall use seat belts as required, and the motorcycle driver and passengers shall wear safety helmets as required.
