1、 Can the marriage certificate be reissued in another place
The civil affairs department of our country has not yet implemented the policy of marriage registration in different places, and the replacement of marriage certificate needs to be handled in the civil affairs department of the place of residence registration.
If the marriage certificate of the party concerned is lost or damaged, he/she can apply to the marriage administration organ of the district (county) civil affairs bureau where the original registration authority is located with the following certificates to apply for a replacement of the Marriage Certificate and fill in the application form. Certificate required:
    1. My ID card and household register.
    2. The marriage certificate is lost.
    3. File search certificate.
The procedures for reissuing marriage certificates are as follows: for couples who have registered for marriage in the past two years, the files are still kept in the marriage registration offices of all districts and counties. The reissuing person can get the new certificate on the same day as long as he or she brings the household register, ID cards, and group photos of both parties to the initial license office for reissuing. If couples who have been married for more than two years want to apply for a new marriage certificate, they need to check out the registration materials in the district/county archives, copy them, and then take the household registration book, ID card and photos to the local marriage registration office to apply for a new marriage certificate. The new certificate can be obtained on the same day.
    2、 Legal basis
Article 17 of the Marriage Registration Regulations, if the marriage certificate or divorce certificate is lost or damaged, the party concerned may apply to the original marriage registration authority or the marriage registration authority in the place where one party's permanent residence is located for a replacement with the household register and identity card. The marriage registration authority shall verify the marriage registration files of the parties and, if it is confirmed to be true, shall reissue the marriage certificate and divorce certificate for the parties.
