1、 Identify domestic violence
 It is common when there is violence in the family, but not all fights and quarrels in the family can become domestic violence. The law requires that domestic violence must cause certain physical and mental consequences. Only when the beating resulted in serious consequences above minor injuries can the court determine that it constituted domestic violence. Therefore, the physical violence in domestic violence must be a regular and serious violence.
 2、 Article 2 of the Anti Domestic Violence Law of the People's Republic of China
 The term "domestic violence" as used in this Law refers to physical and mental violations committed among family members by means of beating, binding, maiming, restricting personal freedom, as well as frequent abuse and intimidation.
 Article 13
 The victims of domestic violence and their legal representatives and close relatives may complain, reflect or seek help from the perpetrator or the unit to which the victims belong, the residents' committee, the villagers' committee, the women's federation and other units. After receiving a complaint, reflection or request for help on domestic violence, the relevant unit shall give help and deal with it.
 The victims of domestic violence and their legal representatives and close relatives may also report the case to the public security organ or bring a lawsuit to the people's court according to law.
 Units and individuals have the right to dissuade in time any domestic violence that is occurring.
