The password law will be officially implemented on January 1, 2020. On the afternoon of October 26, 2019, the 14th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress voted to adopt the password law, which will be implemented on January 1, 2020.
According to the provisions of the law, the password work adheres to the overall national security concept, and follows the principles of unified leadership, graded responsibility, innovative development, serving the overall situation, and legal management to ensure security.
