Housing can be donated to minors. According to the relevant laws and regulations of our country, people under the age of 18 can accept the gift of real estate, and there is no legal prohibition for minors to become homeowners. After receiving the house property donated by their parents, minors can first apply for notarization of guardianship at the notary office, and then their parents, as their legal guardians, can go through the relevant procedures of renaming and transferring the donated house property on their behalf. A gift contract is a contract whereby the donor gives his property to the donee free of charge, and the donee expresses his acceptance of the gift. The donor may revoke the gift before the transfer of rights to the gift property. The provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not apply to a notarized gift contract or a gift contract with the nature of public welfare and moral obligations such as disaster relief, poverty alleviation and disability assistance that cannot be revoked according to law.
