When applying, the applicant shall fill in the application form and submit the identity certificate of the motor vehicle driver, the motor vehicle driving license and the proof of reasons for extension.
 The extension period shall not exceed three years. A motor vehicle driver shall not drive a motor vehicle during the extension period. The driver of a motor vehicle may entrust an agent to replace or supplement the certificate, submit the physical condition certificate, and postpone or cancel the business. When applying for motor vehicle driving license business, the agent shall submit the agent's identity certificate and the application form or physical condition certificate jointly signed by the motor vehicle driver and the agent.
