If the public sewer pipe belonging to the property management in the community is blocked, causing the items in the home to be soaked, the property management is responsible because it belongs to public facilities, and the property management is responsible for dredging. In case of damage, the responsible person shall be responsible for the repair. If there is no responsible person, the property management company shall use the public maintenance fund to repair.
If the sewer pipe in the owner's house is blocked, or the owner changes the pipe without permission, the owner shall be responsible for maintenance.
If there is no human factor, and the house is still under warranty, the real estate agent should be responsible for maintenance.
Legal basis
Article 51 of the Property Management Regulations The units that supply water, power, gas, heat, communication, cable TV, etc. shall bear the responsibility for the repair and maintenance of relevant pipelines, facilities and equipment in the property management area according to law.
If the units mentioned in the preceding paragraph temporarily occupy or excavate roads and sites for maintenance and repair, they shall restore them to their original state in a timely manner.
