1、 The way of service of documents of foreign divorce parties in China is the same as that of domestic divorce parties.
 2、 If one of the parties to a foreign-related divorce is abroad, the following methods may be adopted:
 1. If the domestic party knows the accurate address of the foreign party: 1) the service shall be made in the manner specified in the international treaties concluded or acceded to by the country where the addressee is located and the People's Republic of China; 2) At the court level, the litigation documents are transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for service through diplomatic channels; 3) If the person on whom the service is to be made has the nationality of the People's Republic of China, the service may be entrusted to the embassy or consulate of the People's Republic of China stationed in the country where the person on whom the service is to be made is located; 4) To the representative office established by the addressee within the territory of the People's Republic of China or the branch office or business agent that has the right to accept the service; 5) If the law of the country where the addressee is located allows service by mail, service may be made by mail. If the receipt of service has not been returned after six months from the date of mailing, but the circumstances are sufficient to determine that service has been made, service shall be deemed to have been made on the date when the period expires;
 2. If the domestic party does not know the exact address of the foreign party, the party who files a divorce lawsuit in China should clearly inform the court when filing a lawsuit to avoid delaying the litigation time. In this case, service by announcement is generally adopted, and it shall be deemed as service six months after the date of announcement.
