Exemption from criminal responsibility is not innocence.
 1、 The exemption from criminal punishment is based on Article 37 of the Criminal Law, while the verdict of innocence is based on Article 200 of the Criminal Procedure Law. The applicable conditions of the two are different.
 2、 If the circumstances of the crime are minor and do not require criminal punishment, the offender may be exempted from criminal punishment. However, depending on the different circumstances of the case, the offender may be admonished or ordered to sign a statement of repentance, make an apology, or compensate for losses, or the competent department may impose administrative punishment or administrative sanction.

 In Article 37 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, if the circumstances of a crime are minor and do not require criminal punishment, criminal punishment may be exempted, but according to the different circumstances of the case, admonishment or order to sign a statement of repentance, offer an apology, compensate for losses, or administrative punishment or administrative sanction may be imposed by the competent department.
