    When renting a house, the tenant violates the law, and the landlord does not record in the police station, what responsibility will he bear? 1. If the house lessor rents the house to a person without identity document to live in, or fails to register the name, type and number of identity document of the lessee as required, it shall be fined not less than 200 yuan but not more than 500 yuan. 2. If the lessor of the house does not report to the public security organ, knowing that the lessee uses the leased house for criminal activities, it shall be fined not less than 200 yuan but not more than 500 yuan; If the circumstances are serious, they shall be detained for not more than five days and may be fined not more than 500 yuan. 3. If the lessor has registered the name and ID card number of the lessee in accordance with the law, but does not know clearly that the lessor uses the leased house for criminal activities, or that it uses the leased house for criminal activities, the lessor will not be investigated for relevant liability for violations of the law. According to Article 7 of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Public Security of Leased Houses, the lessor has the following legal responsibilities and obligations:
    1. It is not allowed to lease the house to the lessee without legal and valid certificate;
    2. A lease contract must be signed with the lessee. If the lessee is a temporary resident, he or she shall be led to the police station to apply for temporary residence registration and apply for a temporary residence permit;
    3. Register the name, gender, age, permanent residence, occupation or main economic source, service place and other basic information of the lessee and report to the police station for record;
    4. If it is found that the lessee has engaged in illegal or criminal activities or is suspected of illegal or criminal activities, it shall report to the public security organ in a timely manner; Regularly carry out safety inspection on the leased house to timely discover and eliminate unsafe hidden dangers. The above is the relevant information sorted out by lawyers, and I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
