    The Interim Provisions on Wage Payment is formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China in order to safeguard the right of workers to obtain labor remuneration through labor and regulate the wage payment behavior of employers. Salary payment mainly includes: salary payment items, salary payment levels, salary payment forms, salary payment objects, salary payment time and salary payment under special circumstances. Wages shall be paid in legal currency. It is not allowed to pay in kind or securities instead of currency. The employer shall pay the wages to the workers themselves.

    Legal basis

    Article 46 of the Labor Law shall follow the principle of distribution according to work and implement equal pay for equal work. Wages are gradually rising on the basis of economic development. The state exercises macro-control over the total amount of wages.
