The specific process of loss determination of the insurance company is as follows:
 1. The victim or the insured shall report to the insurance company;
 2. Show the driver's license, driver's license, ID card and insurance policy to the claim adjuster;
 3. The claim adjuster shall complete the preliminary loss assessment of on-site investigation;
 4. Sign and review the claim documents, fill in the Notice of Motor Vehicle Insurance Accident/Claim, and both parties sign for confirmation;
 5. Go to the on-site loss assessment point of the vehicle insurance claim settlement service point to determine the loss, and fill in the Confirmation Form of Vehicle Damage Items in Motor Vehicle Insurance Accidents;
 6. Both parties shall sign for confirmation, and the claim adjuster shall issue a task order to determine the maintenance items and time.

 Article 74 of the Road Traffic Safety Law states that the parties concerned may request the traffic management department of the public security organ to mediate a dispute over compensation for damage caused by a traffic accident, or may directly file a civil lawsuit with the people's court.
 After mediation by the traffic management department of the public security organ, if the parties fail to reach an agreement or fail to perform the mediation statement after it comes into effect, the parties may bring a civil lawsuit to the people's court.
