During the period of studying abroad, public postgraduates can use the vacations of the universities (research institutions) where they study to return home or collect data. When going back to China for vacation or collecting materials, the consent of the university or tutor (collaborator) studying abroad shall be obtained and submitted to the embassy or consulate for approval. Public postgraduates can return to China for vacation within the specified period of study abroad: if the period of study abroad is between 12 months and 24 months (inclusive), the scholarship will be issued as usual if the period of return does not exceed 1 month; If the duration of study abroad is more than 24 months (not included), the time of returning to China shall not exceed 2 months or one month each year, the scholarship will be issued as usual, and the travel expenses for returning to China will be borne by themselves; If the time of returning home exceeds the above number and time, the scholarship will be suspended from the date of exceeding. Take a vacation or study in a country other than the country where you study within the specified period of study abroad at your own expense. In the same year, public postgraduates can only choose one option for vacation or study in a country other than the country where you study abroad, not both. The scholarship will be granted if the duration of a vacation or study tour in a country other than the country where the student studies does not exceed 15 days at a time; If the above number and time are exceeded, the scholarship will be suspended from the date of exceeding.
