Online payment process of patent fees: 1. Login (China Patent Electronic Application Network).
 2. Enter the user name, user password and verification code in the user name, user password and verification code column in the upper left corner. If there is no user name, you can click "Register" to apply.
 3. After entering the user name, user password and verification code, click "Login for external service" to enter the operation interface.
 4. Click "Online Payment" in the upper right corner to open the following interface. Click "Pay by national application number", and the following operation interface will appear.
 5. Enter the patent number to be paid and the name of the payer in the patent number column.
 6. After filling in, click Query. The annual fee for the patent will be listed.
 7. Check the number of years to pay (two years at most), and then click "Confirm".
 8. After filling in, click Generate Order.
 9. The system switches to the bank payment page.
 Legal basis
 Article 94 of the Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China, the various fees prescribed in the Patent Law and these Rules may be paid directly to the patent administration department under the State Council, or remitted by post or bank, or in other ways prescribed by the patent administration department under the State Council.
 Where the remittance is made through a post office or a bank, the correct application number or patent number and the name of the fee paid shall be indicated on the remittance slip sent to the patent administration department under the State Council. If the provisions of this paragraph are not met, the payment formalities shall be deemed not to have been handled.
 Where fees are paid directly to the patent administration department under the State Council, the date of payment shall be the date of payment; If the fees are paid by remittance through the post office, the postmark date remitted by the post office shall be the payment date; If the fees are paid by bank remittance, the payment date shall be the actual remittance date of the bank.
 Where the patent fee is overpaid, re paid or wrongly paid, the party concerned may, within three years from the date of payment, request the patent administration department under the State Council for a refund, and the patent administration department under the State Council shall refund it.
