    The following acts of the successor may be deemed as abandonment of the decedent:
    1. If the successor intentionally kills the decedent, whether it is a completed or attempted attempt, it shall be confirmed that he has lost the right of inheritance;
    2. If a person kills another heir for the purpose of inheriting the property, whether it is an accomplished or an attempted act, as long as he intentionally kills another heir for the purpose of inheriting the property, his right to inheritance shall be forfeited;
    3. If a successor tampers with, forges or destroys his will, thereby infringing upon the interests of a successor who lacks the ability to work and has no source of income, and causing him difficulty in living, and if the circumstances are serious, he shall lose his right to inheritance.
    Article 7 of the Inheritance Law stipulates that a successor who commits one of the following acts shall lose the right of inheritance:
    (1) Intentionally killing the decedent;
    (2) Killing other heirs in order to compete for the inheritance;
    (3) Abandoning a decedent or maltreating a decedent to a serious extent;
    (4) Forging, altering or destroying a will, to a serious extent.
