If the creditor and debtor have settled, the guarantor does not need to bear joint liability.
The procedure of court mediation refers to the steps and ways in which the judges conduct mediation activities and the parties reach a mediation agreement. Since the process of court mediation is the trial process of civil cases by the people's court, court mediation has no separate procedure but is combined with the whole trial procedure.

    Legal basis:

Article 389 of the Civil Code The scope of security of real rights for security includes the principal creditor's rights and their interests, liquidated damages, damages, expenses for keeping the property for security and realizing the real rights for security. If the parties agree otherwise, such agreement shall prevail.
