The failure to check the copy of the original cannot be used as the basis for finalization. The original must also be available.

Article 65
Judges can examine and determine single evidence from the following aspects:
(1) Whether the evidence is the original, copies of the original, and whether the copies are consistent with the original;
(2) Whether the evidence is relevant to the facts of the case;
(3) Whether the form and source of evidence comply with legal provisions;
(4) Whether the content of the evidence is true;
(5) Whether the witness or the person providing the evidence has any interest with the party concerned.
