Legacy succession does not necessarily require notarization. You can go to relevant departments or housing management departments to handle inheritance or property transfer procedures by providing materials or court judgments or mediation statements. Due to the different implementation and handling of real estate trading centers across the country, there are many conditions and obstacles for self provided handling. It is recommended that you still go through notarization, so that the inheritance procedures will be more smooth. Whether it is self handling or just handling, a lot of materials need to be prepared:
 1、 The death certificate of the decedent. The certificate issued by the public security organ or the hospital shall be provided, such as: the population information form of the deceased after the cancellation of the account, and the death certificate of the hospital; It can also be the written order of declaration of death issued by the personnel court.
 2、 Proof of the scope of property of the decedent. For example, property certificate, passbook, deposit certificate, equity, intellectual property, stocks, funds, provident fund, insurance and other evidence materials that can prove the property scope of the decedent.
 3、 The identity certificate of the heir. Including: ID card, household register, only child certificate, marriage relationship certificate, etc.
 4、 Proof of kinship.
 5、 If the heir waives the right of inheritance, the heir who waives the inheritance shall go to the notary office in person to notarize the declaration of waiver of inheritance.
 6、 If the parents of the decedent have died, a death certificate issued by the public security organ shall be provided.
 7、 Where testamentary succession occurs, a legal and valid will shall be provided.
