The court generally does not investigate and collect evidence in divorce cases. At present, the investigation and evidence collection in civil cases are completed by lawyers. Generally, the parties provide clues, and the lawyers apply to the court for an investigation order, and then the lawyers carry the investigation order to investigate and collect evidence. According to the law, all organs and individuals should cooperate in the investigation and evidence collection. However, in real life, many places and individuals do not buy lawyers' accounts at all. Even if they hold court investigation orders, they refuse to cooperate. In this case, lawyers can only apply to the court to investigate and collect evidence in person.

    Legal basis

Article 70 of the Civil Procedure Law, the people's court has the right to investigate and collect evidence from relevant units and individuals, which shall not refuse. The people's court shall distinguish the authenticity of the certification documents submitted by the relevant units and individuals, examine them and determine their validity.
