12 points will be deducted if you hit the guardrail and escape, which is also a hit and run.

A specific case study: after 8:00 p.m. on April 30, Li drove a light van through Chengdu Jianshe North Road - Shuangjian Road and accidentally hit the guardrail in the middle of the road.

Li felt that it didn't matter much if he ran into the guardrail. In addition, he was eager to deliver goods, so he drove away. After that, the guardrail of this section has been in a damaged state.

On May 3, Mr. Li accepted the investigation of the Fifth Branch of the Traffic Police Bureau. Because he ran away after hitting the guardrail, Mr. Li constituted the crime of hit and run, and was faced with 15 days of administrative detention, a fine of 1000 yuan and 12 points.

It can be seen that 12 points will be deducted if you hit the guardrail and escape.

    Legal basis
