It is not allowed to be private. Serious injuries caused by fighting have constituted a crime. Criminal responsibility is not under the control of the victim, nor is it transferred by the will of the victim.
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, if a fight causes serious injuries, the victim should report the case to the public security organ as soon as possible, request the public security organ to file the case for investigation, and at the same time, the victim should conduct judicial expertise on the injury.
In criminal cases, the agreement of both parties cannot exclude the prosecution of crimes by the public power of the state.
