The court sentenced me to pay a fine of 12000 yuan. What will happen if I don't pay?
 A fine imposed for a criminal act shall be paid. If they refuse to pay, the court will enforce them. That is, after the judgment comes into effect, the Criminal Trial Chamber of the court will transfer it to the Executive Bureau of the court for enforcement according to law. However, if it is really difficult to pay due to irresistible disasters, a ruling may be made to reduce or exempt it. 1. Article 260 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China If a criminal sentenced to a fine fails to pay within the time limit, the people's court shall compel him to do so; If it is really difficult to pay due to irresistible disasters, it may be reduced or exempted by a ruling. 2. Interpretation of Several Issues of the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China: Article 438 Property punishment and incidental civil judgments shall be executed by the organ responsible for the execution of judgments of the people's court of first instance. Article 439 The fine shall be paid in a lump sum or in installments within the time limit specified in the judgment. If it fails to pay or fails to pay in full within the time limit, the people's court shall compel it to do so. If the person subjected to execution is found to have property for execution at any time, including after the execution of the principal punishment, if the person subjected to execution is still unable to pay in full after compulsory payment, the property shall be recovered. In addition, according to the provisions of the criminal law of our country, fines can be applied in the following four ways: 1. Single discipline. The single penalty stipulated in the Criminal Law is mainly applicable to unit crime. For example, the crime of accepting bribes by a unit stipulated in Article 387 of the Criminal Law and the crime of offering bribes by a unit stipulated in Article 393 of the Criminal Law impose a fine on the unit. In this case, the penalty can only be applied separately. 2. Subject selection. When the fine is applied separately, the criminal law stipulates that the fine can be applied in parallel with other penalties. For example, according to Article 275 of the Criminal Law, whoever commits the crime of intentionally destroying property shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of less than three years, criminal detention or a fine. In this case, the fine, as a kind of optional statutory punishment, can only be applied separately, and cannot be applied additionally. 3. Combination type. Under the condition that the additional fine is applicable, it is clearly stipulated that the penalty of freedom must be accompanied by a fine. For example, the crime of reselling cultural relics stipulated in Article 326 of the Criminal Law shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention, and shall also be fined; If the circumstances are especially serious, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years but not more than 10 years and shall also be fined. Here, the penalty can only be applied in addition, not separately. 4. Compound type. The compound type means that the single punishment and the concurrent punishment of the fine are stipulated in the same article for alternative application. For example, Article 216 of the Criminal Law stipulates that anyone who counterfeits another person's patent, if the circumstances are serious, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention, and shall also, or shall only, be fined. In this case, the fine can be applied either in addition or separately, and whether it is imposed concurrently or solely depends on the seriousness of the crime committed by the criminal.
