Parents will be deprived of custody of their children if they:
 （1） Conduct behaviors that seriously damage the physical and mental health of the ward. In case of drug abuse, gambling, long-term alcoholism and other bad habits, the guardianship responsibilities cannot be properly performed.
 （2） Being negligent in performing the guardianship duties, or being unable to perform the guardianship duties and refusing to entrust part or all of the guardianship duties to others, resulting in the ward being in a state of distress.
 （3） To commit other acts that seriously infringe upon the lawful rights and interests of the ward. If they refuse to perform their guardianship duties for more than six months, the minors will be displaced.
 [Legal Basis]
 In Article 36 of the Civil Code, if a guardian is under any of the following circumstances, the people's court shall, upon the application of the individual or organization concerned, revoke his guardian qualification, arrange necessary temporary guardianship measures, and appoint a guardian in accordance with the principle of being most beneficial to the ward:
 （1） Conduct behaviors that seriously damage the physical and mental health of the ward;
 （2） Be negligent in performing the duties of guardianship, or fail to perform the duties of guardianship and refuse to entrust part or all of the duties of guardianship to others, causing the ward to be in a state of distress;
 （3） To commit other acts that seriously infringe upon the lawful rights and interests of the ward.
