According to the provisions of Article 7 of Chapter II of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers, which refers to Article 15, consumers enjoy the following nine rights:
 1. Right to security: consumers have the right to protect their personal and property safety when purchasing and using goods and receiving services.
 2. Right to know: Consumers have the right to know the true situation of the goods.
 3. Right of choice: Consumers have the right to freely choose goods or services.
 4. Right to fair trade: When purchasing goods or receiving services, consumers have the right to obtain fair trade conditions such as quality assurance, reasonable price and correct measurement.
 5. Right to claim compensation: Consumers have the right to obtain compensation according to law when they suffer personal or property damage due to the purchase or use of goods or the receipt of services.
 6. Right of association: Consumers have the right to establish social organizations to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests according to law.
 7. Access to knowledge: Consumers have the right to acquire knowledge about consumption and consumer protection.
 8. Right to be respected: consumers have the right to enjoy human dignity and respect for national customs when purchasing and using goods and receiving services.
 9. Right of supervision: Consumers have the right to supervise goods and services and the protection of consumers' rights and interests.
