Has the country introduced some measures and laws to deal with low-frequency noise in dance halls?
Has the country introduced some measures and laws to deal with low-frequency noise in dance halls? In 2008, China has issued a new Emission Standard for Social and Living Environment Noise (GB22337-2008), which has formulated emission standards for structure borne fixed equipment noise (low-frequency noise). The Emission Standard for Noise from Social Living Environment clearly stipulates that the noise in hospital wards, residential bedrooms, hotel rooms and other rooms that need to be quiet and mainly rest and sleep shall not exceed 30 decibels at night (22:00 to 6:00 the next day). In the daytime (6:00 to 22:00), it shall not exceed 40 decibels. From October 1 this year, citizens will be able to judge whether the noise in the area exceeds the standard according to the newly issued noise standards. Do you understand this explanation?
