After the beginning of succession, it shall be handled in accordance with statutory succession; If there is a will, it shall be handled according to testamentary succession or bequest; If there is a legacy maintenance agreement, it shall be handled in accordance with the agreement. The right of inheritance and legacy of a person without capacity for conduct shall be exercised by his legal representative on his behalf. The right of inheritance and legacy of a person with limited capacity shall be exercised by his legal representative or with the consent of his legal representative.
The Inheritance Law stipulates that a successor who commits one of the following acts shall lose the right of inheritance:
(1) Intentionally killing the decedent;
(2) Killing other heirs in order to compete for the inheritance;
(3) Abandoning a decedent or maltreating a decedent to a serious extent;
(4) Forging, altering or destroying a will, to a serious extent.
