 Young people with non-agricultural hukou meet the graduation education level above senior high school, while young people with agricultural hukou lower the standard, but also need to have the education level above junior high school.
 3、 Age condition
 The age of conscription shall not exceed 25 years. The recruitment age of male soldiers should be between 18 and 24 years old, the age of college students should be under 22 years old, the age of vocational (junior college) graduates should be under 23 years old, and the age of graduates with bachelor's degree or above should be relaxed to 24 years old; Female soldiers are recruited at the age of 17 to 22. The age limit will also be relaxed for the special needs or requirements of the troops.
 4、 Physical condition
 The height requirement for male recruits has been adjusted from a minimum of 162 cm to more than 160 cm; The height requirement for female recruits has been adjusted from a minimum of 160 cm to more than 158 cm, but the height requirements for recruits from different arms are also different. The weight is still no less than 15% of the standard weight and no more than 25% of the standard weight.
 The vision requirements have also been adjusted. In the case of naked vision, the right eye vision is reduced from 4.8 to 4.6, and the left eye vision is reduced from 4.6 to 4.5. However, college students or college students are required to be educated. The project requirements for auxiliary inspection have also made clear standards.
 Legal basis
 Article 3 of the Regulations on the Recruitment Work, male citizens who have reached the age of 18 by December 31 of each year shall be enlisted for active service. Those who have not been enlisted in that year may still be enlisted for active service before the age of 22. According to the needs of the army, female citizens may be enlisted for active service in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph. According to the needs of the army and the principle of voluntariness, male and female citizens who have reached the age of 17 but not the age of 18 before December 31 of the current year may be enlisted for active service. Citizens who are unfit for military service due to serious physical defects or serious disabilities shall be exempted from military service. The enlistment of citizens eligible for enlistment may be postponed if they are the only labor force to support their families or are students studying in full-time schools. Persons deprived of political rights in accordance with the law shall not be enlisted. Citizens who are being held in custody for investigation, prosecution or trial, or sentenced to imprisonment, criminal detention or public surveillance, and who are serving sentences, shall not be enlisted.
