Article 445 of the Criminal Law states that anyone who refuses to treat critically wounded or ill servicemen when he is qualified to do so in wartime at the post of rescue and treatment shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention; If serious disability, death or other serious circumstances are caused to a wounded or sick serviceman, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years but not more than 10 years.
