If you are injured, you can ask the other party to compensate for medical expenses, transportation expenses, accommodation expenses, lost time expenses, and nutrition expenses; If a person causes a disability, he or she may also ask the other party to compensate for disability compensation, disability appliance assistance fees, living expenses of the dependants, and mental loss expenses. Article 16 of the Tort Liability Law states that if the infringement causes personal damage to others, he or she shall compensate for medical expenses, nursing expenses, transportation expenses, and other reasonable expenses for treatment and rehabilitation, as well as reduced income due to missed work. If it causes disability, it shall also compensate for the cost of disabled living aids and disability compensation. If death is caused, funeral expenses and death compensation shall also be compensated.
