On national statutory holidays, hospitals will take holidays, but doctors will take turns to deal with people's medical treatment during holidays. According to Article 2 of the Measures for Holidays on National Annual Festivals and Memorial Days, holidays for all citizens:
(1) New Year's Day, 1 day off (January 1);
(2) Spring Festival, 3 days off (the first, second and third days of the first lunar month);
(3) Tomb sweeping Day, one day off (Tomb sweeping Day in the lunar calendar);
(4) Labor Day, one day off (May 1);
(5) Dragon Boat Festival, one day off (Dragon Boat Day in the lunar calendar);
(6) Mid Autumn Festival, 1 day off (Mid Autumn Day in the lunar calendar);
(7) National Day, 3 days off (October 1, 2, 3).
So the hospital will have a holiday on national statutory holidays.
