Handwriting is valid. Whether the divorce agreement is valid or not has nothing to do with its form. It mainly depends on whether the agreement has agreed on such issues as property division, child custody and visitation, spousal support and child support, and whether the two parties have expressed their true intentions when signing the agreement. If so, the divorce agreement will come into effect after both parties have gone through the divorce registration procedures.
