"If the criminal suspect commits the crime of illegal occupation of agricultural land, he will not only be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of less than five years or criminal detention by the court, but also be sentenced to a fine or a single fine. If a unit commits the crime of illegal occupation of agricultural land, the court will not only impose a fine on the unit, but also punish the directly responsible person in charge or the responsible person according to this article.
 According to the provisions of Article 342 of the Criminal Law, whoever, in violation of the land administration laws and regulations, illegally occupies farmland, forest land and other agricultural land, changes the use of the occupied land, and causes a large number of farmland, forest land and other agricultural land to be destroyed, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention and shall also, or shall only, be fined.
 According to Article 346 of the Criminal Law, if a unit commits the crime specified in Articles 338 to 345 of this Section, it shall be fined, and the persons who are directly in charge and other persons who are directly responsible for the crime shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the Articles in this Section. "
 Legal basis
 Article 342-1 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China [Crime of destroying nature reserves] Whoever, in violation of the laws and regulations on the administration of nature reserves, conducts reclamation or development activities or builds buildings in national parks or national nature reserves, causing serious consequences or having other vicious circumstances, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention and shall also, or shall only, be fined.
 Whoever commits the act mentioned in the preceding paragraph, which also constitutes another crime, shall be convicted and punished in accordance with the provisions on heavier punishment.
 Article 346 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China [Provisions on the Punishment of a Unit for the Crime of Destroying Environmental Resources] Where a unit commits the crime specified in Articles 338 to 345 of this section, it shall be fined, and its directly responsible person in charge and other directly responsible persons shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the Articles of this section.
