Hitting a person and causing injury of not less than minor injury shall constitute a crime of intentional injury and shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance. If the injury that does not cause minor injury or above does not reach the injury level or is minor injury even though it reaches the level, it cannot be punished as intentional injury.
If serious injury is caused, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than 10 years; Whoever causes death or serious injury to another person by especially cruel means and causes serious disability shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death.

Article 234 of the Criminal Law stipulates that anyone who intentionally harms another person shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance.
