1. In the case of multiple divorce agreements, the divorce agreement filed with the Civil Affairs Bureau has corresponding legal effect. The parties often have a misunderstanding that in the case of multiple divorce agreements, the last one will certainly have higher legal effect. In fact, the divorce agreement is quite different from the agreement on the establishment, change and termination of civil rights and obligations between natural persons, legal persons and other organizations that are equal subjects regulated by the Contract Law, because it involves the dissolution of the marital status relationship. According to the Marriage Law and relevant judicial interpretations, the provisions on property division in the divorce agreement or the agreement on property division reached by the parties due to divorce are legally binding on both men and women. However, the premise for the application of this clause is that the parties have completed the divorce procedures by agreement, and the divorce agreement has been filed with the Civil Affairs Bureau where the divorce procedures are handled.
 2. Although there are multiple divorce agreements between the parties, they have no legal effect if they fail to go through the procedures for divorce by agreement with the civil affairs department. Regardless of the reason for divorce, one party will generally make appropriate concessions in terms of property division, child rearing and debt bearing in order to achieve the purpose of divorce, but the signing of the divorce agreement or property division agreement is based on the premise that the parties register for divorce or go to the people's court to reach an agreement to mediate divorce.
