The basic medical insurance purchased by the enterprise for employees shall be paid by the unit and the individual respectively at the rate of 7.5% by the employer and 2% by the individual. Among them, the monthly average total salary of the employees of the employer in the previous year is the payment base, which is 7.5%.
The staff and workers shall participate in the basic medical insurance for the staff and workers, and the employing unit and the staff and workers shall jointly pay the basic medical insurance premium according to the state regulations. Individual businesses without employees, part-time employees who do not participate in the basic medical insurance for employees in the employing unit and other flexible employees can participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and the basic medical insurance premiums shall be paid by individuals according to the state regulations.
Legal basis
Article 23 of the Full Text of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China, employees shall participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and the employer and employees shall jointly pay the basic medical insurance premium in accordance with national regulations.
Individual businesses without employees, part-time employees who do not participate in the basic medical insurance for employees in the employing unit and other flexible employees can participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and the basic medical insurance premiums shall be paid by individuals according to the state regulations.
