 Article 233 of the Criminal Law states that anyone who negligently causes death shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years; If the circumstances are relatively minor, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years. Where this Law provides otherwise, such provisions shall prevail.
