    Housing provident fund refers to the long-term housing savings deposited equivalently by state organs and institutions, state-owned enterprises, urban collective enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, urban private enterprises and other urban enterprises and institutions, private non enterprise units, social organizations and their employees. If the housing provident fund is not enough to repay the current month's loan, it needs to be repaid separately. There are three different ways to withdraw the provident fund for repayment: one-time repayment, suspension of repayment for several months, and monthly repayment.

    The process of withdrawing provident fund is as follows:

    1. The agent of the unit purchases the Application for Withdrawal of Housing Provident Fund and cash (transfer) cheque at the bank service outlet;

    2. When an employee applies for withdrawing the housing provident fund, he/she shall provide the unit with relevant supporting materials according to the regulations. After verification, the unit shall fill in the Application for Withdrawal of Housing Provident Fund and cash (transfer) cheque, and affix the reserved seal. When an employee with an individual housing provident fund account in the centralized account of the management center withdraws the housing provident fund, Carry relevant certification materials directly to the business hall of the management center or the counter of the management department of district and county sub centers to apply;

    3. Employees shall carry the Application for Withdrawal of Housing Provident Fund and relevant supporting materials to the bank service outlets (district and county sub center management departments) to apply for withdrawal of housing provident fund according to regulations;

    4. After reviewing the materials provided by the employee, the staff shall handle the extraction review for the employee, print the Acceptance Receipt and submit it to the employee for confirmation, and submit one copy of the Acceptance Receipt and the original certification materials to the employee;

    5. The withdrawn housing provident fund is transferred to the employee's own housing provident fund co branded card savings account.

    [Legal Basis]

    According to Article 24 of the Regulations on the Administration of Housing Provident Fund, if an employee has any of the following circumstances, he/she may withdraw the balance of the employee's housing provident fund account:

    (1) Those who purchase, build, rebuild or overhaul their own houses;

    (2) Retired or retired;

    (3) Completely lose the ability to work and terminate the labor relationship with the unit;

    (4) Going abroad to settle down;

    (5) Repayment of principal and interest of house purchase loan;

    (6) The rent exceeds the specified proportion of the family's wage income.

    In accordance with the provisions of (2), (3) and (4) of the preceding paragraph, if the employee housing fund is withdrawn, the employee housing fund account shall be canceled at the same time.

    If an employee dies or is declared dead, the heir or legatee of the employee may withdraw the balance of the employee's housing fund account; If there is no heir or legatee, the balance of the employee's housing provident fund account shall be included in the value-added income of the housing provident fund.
