After divorce, those who meet one of the following conditions may apply for an Only Child Certificate:
 (1) The couple does not give birth to another child after giving birth to one child, and the child is under the age of 16;
 (2) The husband and wife adopt a child according to the relevant regulations and no longer have children, and their children are under the age of 16;
 (3) The couple had two children who had been born within the planned period, one of whom died unexpectedly, and the other was under the age of 16;
 (4) The husband and wife have only one child under the age of 16 after losing their spouse;
 (5) The couple gave birth to a child before divorce, and the child was sentenced to be raised by themselves at the time of divorce, and the child was under the age of 16;
 (6) One of the remarried couples has had a child, the other has not had a child, and now the family has only one child under the age of 16;
 (7) The remarried couple had one child each before remarriage, one of whom was raised by the other party, and now the family has only one child under the age of 16;
 (8) The couple who have been approved to have a second child give up the birth, and the child in the current family is under the age of 16.
