 During pregnancy, the husband is not allowed to divorce, and the wife can sue or divorce by agreement, which is set up to fully protect women. Generally, divorce without fault cannot claim compensation.

 Marriage Law
 Article 34 During the period of pregnancy, within one year after childbirth or within six months after termination of pregnancy, the husband shall not apply for divorce. This restriction shall not apply if the wife applies for divorce, or if the people's court deems it necessary to accept the husband's divorce request.
 Article 46 The faultless party shall have the right to claim damages if divorce is caused by any of the following circumstances:
 （1） Bigamy (2) cohabitation of a spouse with another person (3) domestic violence (4) maltreatment or abandonment of family members.
