With regard to the migration of divorced household registration, Articles 10, 13 and 19 of the Household Registration Regulations of China have made relevant provisions. Paragraph 1 of Article 10 stipulates that if a citizen moves out of the jurisdiction area of his/her household registration, he/she or the head of household shall apply to the household registration authority for registration of moving out, obtain the removal certificate and cancel his/her household registration before moving out. Article 19 stipulates that when a citizen's household registration changes due to marriage, divorce, adoption, claim, separation, merger, disappearance, recovery or other reasons, the head of household or himself shall apply to the household registration authority for registration of change.
 1、 Procedures of household registration transfer for divorce proceedings
 (1) The parties to the divorce may go to the local police station to handle the procedures of household separation or transfer with the original household register and the court's judgment or mediation statement, and the local police station shall handle the procedures according to the court's judgment or mediation statement and the regulations of household separation and establishment;
 (2) If one party is unwilling to hand over the original household register and the public security police station persuades it to be invalid, it can go through the procedures of household division or transfer according to the judgment or mediation statement, and indicate the date and reason of household division on the household register.
 2、 For the household registration transfer procedure of divorce by agreement, the certificate of consent to move in from the registered address shall be obtained, and the certificate of move out shall be issued by the current household registration authority in the place where the household registration is located. Finally, the relevant materials shall be brought by the person to the public security organ in the place where the household registration is located to handle the move in procedure.
