If the husband and wife want to divorce, there are the following solutions:
1、 Both parties can negotiate a settlement. If both parties are willing to divorce, they can go to the marriage registration office to apply for divorce by agreement;
2、 If the agreement cannot be reached, the party requesting divorce can directly file a divorce lawsuit in the court, and the court will decide whether or not to divorce.

Article 1076 of the Civil Code states that if the husband and wife divorce voluntarily, they shall sign a written divorce agreement and apply for divorce registration in person at the marriage registration office.
The divorce agreement shall specify the intention of both parties to divorce voluntarily and the consensus on matters such as child rearing, property and debt handling.
