For those who have been punished, in addition to many occupations that they cannot engage in, the national laws also have many restrictions on their children, such as the political review of joining the military, civil service examination, military academy, police academy, bank recruitment, state-owned enterprise recruitment, etc. If serious crimes such as national security crimes are involved, their children may be affected in going abroad or other related situations in the future.
1、 Political review refers to political review. In general, the political trial work should be carried out by the grass-roots party organizations. In carrying out this work, Party members can be sent to investigate, or letters can be sent to ask the Party organizations of relevant units to assist in the investigation. Due to special circumstances, some political trials can also be carried out by higher Party organizations. The content and scope of political trial should have different requirements in different historical periods.
2、 The political review is mainly to review the following contents:
1. The examination of the political history, immediate family members and major social relations of the object of political trial;
2. The attitude of the party's line, principles and policies to whom the political trial is conducted;
3. The main performance of the objects of political trial in major historical events;
4. The examination of whether the objects of political trial have criminal records.

In Item 9 of Article 8 of the Provisions on the Political Review of Recruitment, citizens in any of the following circumstances shall not be enlisted for active service:
9. Major family members, direct dependents, major members of social relations or other relatives who have a greater impact on themselves, who have been criminally punished, expelled from the Party, expelled from public office or have serious violations of the law that have not yet been investigated, and who have words and deeds of shielding and retaliation.
