Marriage is free, and no one who is unwilling to divorce between the male and female parties in marriage may interfere. If violence is used to interfere, it may also constitute a crime of violence interference in marriage freedom. According to Article 257 of the Criminal Law, whoever interferes with another person's freedom of marriage by violence shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than two years or criminal detention. Whoever commits the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph and causes the death of the victim shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than two years but not more than seven years. Article 5 of the Marriage Law: Marriage must be completely voluntary, and neither party is allowed to force the other or any third party to interfere. Article 3: Arranging marriages, buying and selling marriages and other acts that interfere with the freedom of marriage are prohibited. It is forbidden to ask for property through marriage. Bigamy is prohibited. Persons with spouses are prohibited from cohabiting with others. Domestic violence is prohibited. Abuse and abandonment among family members are prohibited.
