The procedures for the change of motor vehicle owner between husband and wife are as follows: Both husband and wife need to take their own identity cards, marriage certificates, motor vehicle driving permits, and motor vehicle registration certificates to the local vehicle management branch to handle the change business. According to relevant laws and regulations, if applying for transfer registration, the current motor vehicle owner shall fill in the application form, submit the motor vehicle for inspection, and submit the following certificates and vouchers:
 （1） The identity certificate of the current motor vehicle owner;
 （2） Proof and voucher of ownership transfer of motor vehicles;
 （3） Motor vehicle registration certificate;
 （4） Motor vehicle license;
 （5） For motor vehicles under the supervision of the customs, the Certificate of the People's Republic of China for Deregulation of Vehicles under Customs Supervision or the transfer certificate approved by the customs shall also be submitted;
 （6） For motor vehicles that have exceeded the validity period of inspection, they shall also submit certificates of technical inspection of motor vehicle safety and certificates of compulsory insurance for traffic accident liability.
 If the current owner of a motor vehicle is located within the jurisdiction of the vehicle administration office, the vehicle administration office shall, within one day from the date of accepting the application, confirm the motor vehicle, check the rubbing film of the vehicle identification code, review the submitted certificates and vouchers, withdraw the number plate and driving license, determine the new number plate of the motor vehicle, endorse the transfer items on the motor vehicle registration certificate, and re issue the number plate Driving license and inspection mark.
 If the domicile of the current motor vehicle owner is not within the jurisdiction of the vehicle management office, the vehicle management office shall handle it in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of these Provisions.
