1、 The following materials are required to renew a driver's license when it expires:
1. Two one inch photos.
2. Medical certificate.
3. My ID card.
4. Original driver's license.
2、 The process required to renew a driver's license upon expiration is as follows:
1. Take the relevant materials to the card hall and fill in the card replacement application form.
2. Then give the certificate, physical examination form and certificate renewal application form to the staff.
3. Pay the cost of production.
4. Get a new certificate.
3、 Under any of the following circumstances, the driver of a motor vehicle shall apply to the vehicle management office at the place where the motor vehicle driver's license is issued or outside the place where the license is issued within 30 days:
1. The information of the motor vehicle driver recorded in the motor vehicle driving license has changed within the jurisdiction of the vehicle management office;
2. The motor vehicle driver's license is damaged and unrecognizable.
4、 If the motor vehicle driver fails to record 12 points in each scoring cycle within the six-year validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license, a new motor vehicle driver's license with a 10-year validity period shall be issued; Within the ten year validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license, if each scoring cycle does not record 12 points, a long-term valid motor vehicle driver's license shall be renewed.
[Legal Basis]
Article 63 of the Provisions on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses states that motor vehicle drivers shall, within 90 days before the expiry of the valid period of their motor vehicle driving licenses, apply to the vehicle management offices at or outside the place where the motor vehicle driving licenses are issued. When applying, the applicant shall confirm the application information and submit the following certificates and vouchers:
（1） The identity certificate of the motor vehicle driver;
（2） Certificate of physical condition issued by medical institution.
